We are currently seeking to add a Driller Helper to our team in Hermon, ME. We are willing to train a motivated, reliable individual with a strong willingness to learn. As a Driller Assistant at New England Boring Contractors, you will be responsible for assisting Drillers by performing the following: Load and unload drills, augers, rods, casing, bits, samplers and materials from vehicle Drill with various casings, rods, augers, bits, etc. Prepare rods, put samplers on rods, take sample, empty samplers Shovel drill cuttings away from holes; keep drill sites clean and hazard-free Handle all casing, rods and equipment with care; clean and ready all equipment for next use Drive support trucks in compliance with company policies. Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
MUST have a Valid Driver's License MUST be able to pass a drug screen and DOT Physical. Must be able to drive company vehicles under Federal Guidelines.
Job Details:
Must be willing to travel away from home up to four nights each week. Valid Class A or B license or willingness to obtain
