In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing drywall surfaces to create smooth, durable walls and ceilings that meet high-quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to a variety of projects, from new construction to renovation and restoration jobs. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install drywall panels according to construction plans and schematics Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise placement of drywall and related materials Apply drywall mudding (joint compound) for seamless finishes, including taping and texturing techniques Repair damaged drywall surfaces efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality Install metal stud framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, and fixture mounting as needed for comprehensive wall systems Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and secure drywall materials on-site Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times Skills Proven experience with drywall installation, mudding, taping, texturing, and repair techniques Strong knowledge of construction estimating and interpreting blueprints or schematics Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools Ability to read construction plans accurately and follow detailed instructions for complex projects Experience with metal stud framing, plastering, stucco application, flooring installation, and tile laying is a plus Knowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation, plumbing integration, and restoration industry practices is advantageous Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements Join our team if you're eager to bring precision craftsmanship to life through expert drywall work!
