Job Description

Position Summary The Associate Remodeler is an entry-level construction professional responsible for assisting in residential remodeling projects while developing technical skills. This position focuses on learning Seaborn's standards for safety, jobsite organization, customer protection, craftsmanship, and professionalism. Associates work under the supervision of a Remodeler, Senior Remodeler, or Lead Remodeler while gaining experience in all phases of residential remodeling, including bathrooms, kitchens, basements, additions, and decks. Success in this role requires reliability, a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to producing quality work. Primary Responsibilities Jobsite Support & Protection Arrive on time, prepared to work, and ready to follow the daily plan.

Assist with setting up floor protection, dust containment, plastic barriers, and walkway protection. Load, unload, move, and stage tools, materials, fixtures, and equipment. Perform cleanup throughout the day and complete end-of-day jobsite organization. Respect customer homes by keeping work areas contained, protecting personal property, and limiting disruption. Demolition & Material Handling Safely assist with removal of cabinetry, fixtures, flooring, drywall, trim, tile, framing, and other existing finishes as directed. Separate trash, salvageable materials, and reusable items according to company direction. Carry debris safely through customer homes while protecting finished surfaces and property. Support safe loading of dumpsters, trailers, and company vehicles. Construction Assistance Assist experienced remodelers with framing, blocking, backing, drywall, painting, trim, flooring, cabinet installation, doors, windows, decks, and punch list work. Measure, mark, cut, fasten, and install basic materials under supervision. Learn proper use of hand tools, power tools, layout tools, and fasteners. Ask questions, accept coaching, and correct mistakes quickly and professionally. Safety, Teamwork & Customer Care Wear required PPE and follow company safety standards at all times. Report unsafe conditions, damaged tools, jobsite concerns, or potential quality issues immediately. Treat every customer's home, property, family, and pets with respect. Communicate politely with coworkers, supervisors, customers, and trade partners. Support crew productivity by staying engaged, looking for ways to help, and maintaining a positive attitude. Advancement Opportunities Associate Remodelers may advance to Remodeler when they consistently demonstrate safe tool use, reliability, basic construction skills, jobsite awareness, customer respect, and the ability to complete routine tasks independently for portions of the workday.
Pay:
$17.00
