Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician Helper/Assistant to join our dynamic electrical team. An Electrician Helper/Assistant assists mechanics, and lead electricians with the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and institutional settings. This entry-level position provides hands-on experience while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Assist electricians in installing electrical wiring, fixtures, outlets, switches, and equipment. Carry and organize tools, materials, and equipment at job sites. Pull wires through conduits, walls, and ceilings. Learn to measure, cut, and bend conduit using hand and power tools. Clean and prepare work areas before, during, and after projects. Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with electrical codes and regulations. Load and unload materials Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment under supervision. Perform other duties as assigned by the lead electrician. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Basic knowledge of construction and electrical systems is a plus. Ability to use hand and power tools safely. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines. Valid driver's license may be required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods. Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions. Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
Work Environment:
Commercial, institutional, and industrial construction sites. Exposure to dust, noise, and outdoor weather conditions. Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Some jobs requirement nights Overtime can be required if a job is running behind.

Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
