Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our plant's operational efficiency, responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex industrial electrical systems with a heavy focus on Allen-Bradley control systems. Key Responsibilities:
PLC & Controls:
Program, troubleshoot, and modify Allen-Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) to maintain continuous production.
Diagnose & Repair:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions in production machinery, control panels, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and high-voltage distribution networks.
Preventative Maintenance:
Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on motors, transformers, generators, and electrical circuits to minimize downtime.
Blueprints & Schematics:
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and National Electrical Code (NEC) specifications.
Installation:
Install new electrical conduit, wiring, panels, and electronic components in compliance with safety codes.
Safety & Compliance:
Strictly adhere to OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and company safety policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
Minimum of [X] years of experience as an electrician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
PLC Proficiency:
Direct, hands-on experience troubleshooting Allen-Bradley hardware and software (e.g., ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000, or RSLogix).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces or at heights, and stand for extended periods.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship or a technical degree in industrial electricity is highly preferred.
Licensing:
Valid Journeyman Electrician license or state equivalent is a strong plus.

Schedule:
1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to
Friday Overtime:
Required (Standard 50-hour work week)
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
