: Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and production equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting safe and efficient operations through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and system improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, motors, drives, and power distribution equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and control system issues to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical components.
Work with PLCs, sensors (flow, level, temperature), and industrial control systems.
Run conduit, pull wire, and safely connect/disconnect equipment.
Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safely work within electrical panels.
Use hand and power tools safely and maintain shop equipment.
Support installation and maintenance of plant and facility electrical systems.
Qualifications
Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (apprenticeship or military training accepted).
5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or electrical work.
Strong knowledge of PLCs, 3-phase power, variable frequency drives, and industrial controls.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and rotating equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights up to 25 feet.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Positive attitude with the ability to accept and provide constructive feedback.
