Job Summary Provide journey-level electrical skills for exterior lighting systems, traffic signal control systems, EV Charging systems, and low voltage electrical utility systems.

- For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position Must possess a certificate of completion from a recognized union apprenticeship program, University apprenticeship program, accredited trade school or have the equivalent amount of experience and training comparable to a journey level craftsperson in the electrical trade.
Required to hold a valid California driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program
High school diploma and/or equivalent experience.
Journey level knowledge and experience in the electrical trade and related practices.
Meet the minimum hours of on-the-job training compared to a 4-year apprenticeship program.
Fully qualified to perform in the electrical trade without supervision.
Capable of handling complex tasks independently.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and installation of approved systems and devices.
Skilled in inspecting, maintaining, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical and related campus systems.
Effective communication, analytical, and customer service skills to interpret technical data, interact with stakeholders, and resolve issues. Preferred Qualifications Proficient in basic computer use, with the ability to learn new software and train or mentor apprentices as needed.
Skilled in maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment.
Able to evaluate potential system downtime and implement effective solutions. Key Responsibilities 60%
