Job Description

PRST is currently seeking experienced Industrial Automation Electricians / Controls Electricians to support the installation and startup of an automated production line for a manufacturing client in the South Bay Area.

This is an excellent opportunity for highly skilled electricians with industrial automation experience who can work independently, interpret electrical schematics, and perform machine power installations and field wiring.

ResponsibilitiesBuild and wire industrial control panels from electrical schematics.

Perform machine field wiring from control panels to motors, sensors, valves, HMIs, safety devices, Remote I/O, and robots.

Install and route cables, cable trays, EMT conduit, flexible conduit, and liquid-tight conduit.

Terminate and label wiring according to electrical drawings and standards.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, terminal diagrams, and I/O drawings.

Perform continuity testing, voltage checks, and electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter.

Support machine power-up, I/O checkout, and startup activities.

Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards.
