Express Employment Professionals•Oxnard Position Overview Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Industrial Electricians / Electrical Technicians for a contract assignment supporting an industrial equipment upgrade project in Oxnard, CA. We are looking for candidates with hands-on industrial or commercial electrical experience who are comfortable working with manufacturing equipment, motors, conduit, wiring, and electrical components. This is a great opportunity for experienced electrical professionals looking for a well-paying contract assignment with the potential to begin work prior to the primary project start date.
Project Schedule Primary Project:
September 7•September 25
Reconnect Phase:
October 26•October 30 Candidates must be available for the primary project dates. Selected associates may have an opportunity to start sooner based on project needs. Responsibilities Disconnect motors and electrical components from existing industrial equipment Perform electrical work associated with machinery upgrades and modifications Run conduit and bend pipe Pull, route, and organize electrical wiring Properly identify and label wiring for reconnection or reuse Install electrical components as part of equipment upgrades Assist with equipment disconnects, installations, and reconnects Use electrical, hand, and power tools safely and effectively Follow project instructions and site safety procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work alongside electricians, technicians, and other skilled trades personnel to complete project requirements Qualifications Previous industrial or commercial electrical experience required Hands-on experience running conduit and bending pipe Experience pulling and routing electrical wire Experience working with motors, machinery, or industrial equipment preferred Familiarity with electrical components and industrial equipment Ability to properly identify, organize, and label wiring Comfortable using electrical tools, hand tools, and power tools Ability to work safely in an active industrial/manufacturing environment Basic English communication skills required Dependable attendance and ability to commit to the project schedule Pay $30.00•40.00+ per hour, depending on experience Higher compensation may be considered for candidates with advanced industrial electrical experience and relevant technical skills.
