Commercial Electrician Coral Electric Inc. - South Florida Full-Time | Competitive Pay | Established Company Since 2009 Join the Coral Electric Team Coral Electric Inc. is a family-owned and operated electrical contractor proudly serving South Florida since 2009. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our growing team. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well with others, and can complete commercial electrical installations safely, efficiently, and professionally. Responsibilities Perform commercial electrical installations, repairs, and renovations Install conduit, including EMT and PVC Bend conduit accurately using hand and mechanical benders Pull and terminate conductors Install electrical panels, disconnects, transformers, lighting, receptacles, switches, and other electrical equipment Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs Read and understand electrical plans, specifications, and one-line diagrams Layout electrical installations from construction drawings Perform panel changes, service upgrades, and equipment connections Work independently and as part of a crew Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, general contractors, and other trades Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Complete work according to the NEC, local codes, project specifications, and Coral Electric's quality standards Accurately track materials and communicate job progress Represent Coral Electric professionally on every jobsite
Qualifications Required:
Minimum 3 years of commercial electrical experience preferred Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems Experience bending and installing conduit Ability to read electrical blueprints and construction plans Strong troubleshooting skills Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Ability to work independently with limited supervision Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Must have your own basic electrical hand tools Ability to safely use ladders, lifts, power tools, and electrical testing equipment Dependable, punctual, and professional Strong attention to detail and workmanship Additional experience is a plus: Commercial service and troubleshooting Ground-up commercial construction Tenant build-outs and renovations Restaurants and retail spaces Lighting and lighting controls Three-phase electrical systems Transformers Generators EV charging systems Service upgrades What We're Looking For We're not simply looking for someone who can "get the job done."
