Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Electrician to oversee electrical projects across commercial and industrial settings. In this role, you will lead electrical installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance efforts, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes. Your expertise will drive project success while mentoring junior electricians and maintaining high standards of quality. Duties Lead the installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial and commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage controls. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to guide project execution. Diagnose complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot electrical systems efficiently. Ensure all work adheres to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards, local codes, and safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Supervise and coordinate with team members on construction sites, renovation projects, and electrical upgrades. Manage high-voltage electrical wiring projects safely while adhering to strict safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and compliance documentation. Experience Proven industrial electrician experience with a strong background in commercial electrical systems. Extensive hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on complex systems. Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes. Skilled in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints reading for accurate installations. Experience working on construction sites, renovation projects, or industrial facilities involving high voltage wiring. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems is highly desirable. Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and specialized testing equipment safely and effectively.
