electrical equipment handling Electrical layout diagram interpretation Power tools Assembly drawings Full Job Description Located in Machesney Park, Illinois, a thriving family-operated business specializing in the production of fuel tanks and backup power enclosures is seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Panel Builder to join their manufacturing team. Core Responsibilities Execute complex electrical assembly tasks and perform system troubleshooting within a production setting. Analyze root causes to effectively resolve technical issues and prevent them from recurring in the future. Install and secure rigid conduit while adhering to strict industry standards and project requirements. Demonstrate high-level expertise in the operation of a Greenlee conduit bender. Safely manage the routing and pulling of large-gauge wiring for panelboards, transformers, and associated electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency. Utilize established pull lists to accurately route all necessary conductors. Wire, terminate, and label secondary and primary transformers with meticulous attention to detail. Complete the installation and termination of MCM wire and DLO cable connections for breakers and alternators. Utilize a diverse range of power tools, hand tools, electrical instruments, and precision measuring devices. Analyze and interpret electrical diagrams, technical blueprints, and written assembly documentation. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment by following standardized procedures. Act as a technical mentor to provide guidance and support for Skilled-Level and Entry-Level Assemblers. Instruct team members on complex job functions and advanced techniques for electrical assembly. Work safely while operating ladders, boom lifts, and scissor lifts. Maintain a consistent focus on quality, productivity, and accuracy to help uphold the highest safety standards for the entire team. Provide versatile support across various production departments as operational needs dictate. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electrical assembly. Proficiency with 240V and 480V wiring, AC/DC systems, electrical instruments, and power tools. Proven ability to interpret and read electrical diagrams and blueprints. Compensation and Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision health coverage. Position Details Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour.

Schedule:
