Our ideal candidate has 4+ years of hands-on residential electrical experience and is comfortable working independently on a wide variety of residential projects. The majority of our work is residential, including service calls, electrical troubleshooting, repairs, remodels, renovations, and installations . We are looking for an electrician who enjoys the variety of residential work and is confident diagnosing electrical issues, finding solutions, and completing projects with little to no assistance. The right candidate should be comfortable walking into a home, assessing the electrical issue, troubleshooting the problem, communicating with the homeowner, and completing the necessary work safely and professionally. Responsibilities Perform residential electrical service calls and troubleshoot electrical issues Diagnose electrical problems and determine the appropriate repair or solution Complete electrical work for residential remodels and renovations Install, repair, replace, and maintain residential wiring, fixtures, outlets, switches, breakers, and other electrical components Handle residential electrical projects from start to finish Use multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical problems Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide excellent customer service Work independently and make sound decisions in the field Maintain a clean and professional work environment Assist and provide guidance to apprentices when needed Perform commercial and new construction electrical work as needed Qualifications 4+ years of hands-on residential electrical experience Strong experience with residential service calls and troubleshooting Comfortable performing residential remodel and renovation work Able to diagnose and repair a wide variety of residential electrical issues Comfortable working independently with little to no assistance Proficient with electrical testing equipment, including multimeters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and schematics Proficient with common electrical hand tools and power tools Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Professional communication and customer service skills Reliable, motivated, and able to work efficiently in customers' homes What We Are Looking For We are looking for an electrician who is experienced and confident in residential electrical work , particularly service calls, troubleshooting, repairs, remodels, and renovations . The ideal candidate is someone who can take a residential job from identifying the problem through completing the work and is comfortable handling the variety of electrical situations that come with residential service work.
