Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial settings, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. This role requires proficiency in using various tools and equipment, including voltmeters, ohmmeters. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential environments. Read and interpret blueprints. Utilize voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure systems are functioning correctly. Work with both low voltage and high voltage systems as required by project specifications. Employ hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while working on-site. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problematic. Requirements Proven experience as an Electrician in commercial or residential settings. Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is essential. Proficient in using voltmeters, ohmmeters, hand tools, and power tools. Knowledge of frame carpentry is a plus but not required. Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients. Must be able to work on construction sites safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
