Our services include custom-home and remodel wiring, fire and security alarm systems, home automation, landscape, general, and accent lighting installation and design, service panel upgrades, preventive maintenance programs, surge protection, electrical work for hot tubs and spas, data and communication systems, and electric vehicle (EV) charger installation. Our wide range of projects gives employees opportunities to expand their experience and develop their skills across multiple areas of the electrical trade. Position Description M. DeRubeis Electric, Inc. is seeking qualified Journeyman Electricians to join our growing team. We have immediate openings for full-time, on-site positions. Work is primarily residential, with some commercial and low-voltage projects throughout the Greater Boston area. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems; completing wiring, fixture, and panel work; reading and interpreting plans; and ensuring all work complies with the National Electrical Code and applicable local regulations. Electricians must be able to communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and other members of the MDE team.

Requirements:

Current Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License Minimum of two years of professional electrical experience Valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable transportation Knowledge of the National Electrical Code as it applies to residential, commercial, and low-voltage electrical work Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to use standard electrical tools, meters, and testing equipment safely Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a crew Self-directed, organized, motivated, and dependable Strong communication and customer-service skills Professional references must be included with the resume Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health insurance benefits Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Potential opportunities for prevailing-wage work To apply, please email your resume and references to mike@mderubeiselectric.com or call 617-823-8775 to schedule an interview.
