An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

DeRubeis Electric, Inc. is seeking qualified Journeyman Electricians to join our growing team. We have immediate openings for full-time, on-site positions. Work is primarily residential, with some commercial and low-voltage projects throughout the Greater Boston area. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems; completing wiring, fixture, and panel work; reading and interpreting plans; and ensuring all work complies with the National Electrical Code and applicable local regulations. Electricians must be able to communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and other members of the MDE team.
Requirements:
