Baltimore Region / State of Maryland About Odin Technologies Odin Technologies is a growing systems integrator specializing in commercial security, networking, and low-voltage infrastructure. We design, install, and service access control, video surveillance, network infrastructure, structured cabling, fiber optics, and other technology solutions across a variety of commercial environments. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally, works well with a team, and can be trusted to get the job done right. Odin Technologies is looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician based in Maryland to join our field team. This position will primarily support projects throughout the Baltimore region , but applicants must be willing and able to travel to job sites throughout the State of Maryland as project needs require. This is not a position requiring routine travel back and forth to our New Jersey office. The employee will work primarily from Maryland-based job sites. However, quarterly travel to Odin Technologies' headquarters in Sewell, New Jersey is required for company meetings, training, and team events. Occasional travel outside of Maryland may also be required based on project needs, with advance notice whenever possible. This is a hands-on field position and is not an entry-level role . We're looking for someone with professional commercial electrical experience who can work independently, read plans, install electrical systems, and properly measure, bend, and install conduit in the field. What We're Looking For At least 2 years of professional commercial electrical experience Must have hands-on experience bending conduit Must be able to independently measure, bend, and install EMT conduit Experience performing offsets, saddles, kicks, 90s, and other common conduit bends Commercial rough-in and finish experience Ability to read electrical plans, construction drawings, one-lines, and wiring diagrams Experience pulling, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting electrical wiring Ability to install boxes, raceways, panels, devices, fixtures, and related electrical equipment Working knowledge of electrical codes and job-site safety practices Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently without constant supervision Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to work from ladders and lifts and in active commercial environments Ability to pass required background checks and customer/site clearances Must reside in Maryland or within a reasonable commuting distance of our Maryland project areas Must be willing to travel throughout Maryland based on project assignments Must be available for quarterly travel to Sewell, New Jersey for company meetings and training Experience with low-voltage systems, access control, video surveillance, structured cabling, networking, or security systems is a plus. Schedule & Travel This is a full-time, primarily Monday-Friday field position averaging approximately 40 hours per week. Start and end times vary by project, with typical schedules such as 7:00 AM-3:00 PM or 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. The majority of work will be located in the Baltimore region , although technicians may be assigned to projects anywhere within Maryland. Applicants should be comfortable traveling throughout the state depending on active project locations. Quarterly travel to Odin Technologies' headquarters in Sewell, New Jersey is required for company meetings, training, and other scheduled team activities. Overnight travel may occasionally be required depending on project location or duration. Odin Technologies provides hotel accommodations and a travel meal allowance/per diem for qualifying overnight travel. Overtime is available and may be required based on project needs.
