Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, including NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC (National Electrical Code). Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring and system installations. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to all electrical safety procedures and local electrical codes. Diagnose electrical issues efficiently through systematic troubleshooting of electrical systems, including low voltage controls, industrial electrical systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Conduct routine maintenance on electrical equipment and systems to prevent failures and ensure optimal performance. Work on construction sites involving renovation or new builds, demonstrating knowledge of construction practices such as frame carpentry and schematic reading. Follow strict safety protocols related to high-voltage work, NFPA 70 compliance, and general electrical safety procedures to protect yourself and colleagues. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, or clients to ensure timely completion of electrical installations within project specifications. Requirements Valid electrician license with proven experience as a licensed electrician in industrial or commercial settings. Extensive experience working with industrial electrical systems, commercial electrical systems, high-voltage wiring, and low-voltage applications. Strong knowledge of local electrical codes, NEC standards, NFPA 70 compliance requirements, and blueprint reading skills. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints; experience with schematics for industrial control panels is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters effectively. Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical wiring and industrial electrical systems installation or repair. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting is highly desirable. Construction site experience including renovation projects; familiarity with construction practices such as framing or handyman tasks is a plus. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
