Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years experience in an electrical field and a valid journeyman card.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Replacement of in-unit electrical subpanels Installs and repair wiring and electrical fixtures following electrical code Installs and repair control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays switches, thermostats, circuit-breaker panels Diagnose and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment Works with supervisors to complete projects Occasional travel to other sites within our region Other duties as assigned by supervisor Must own some basic tools for use on the job Must have own transportation to move around the community or to other Solomon properties.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work full time 40 hours per week 5+ years actual hands on experience Ability to assess problems and solve them with a strong sense of urgency A high school diploma or equivalent and professional knowledge of business disciplines

EXPECTATIONS

Attendance is an imperative job function as is working in a team-oriented environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS IN ADDITION TO THOSE LISTED ABOVE

Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Position requires bending, lifting, kneeling, twisting, and performing installations at awkward angles. Work environment may include loud noises, dust, dirt, and minor hazards.
