RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICIAN
$2,500 SIGN-ON BONUS | UP TO $60/HR |

We're looking for
EXPERIENCED
residential electricians who already know their way around a home, can perform quality electrical work, and take pride in doing the job safely and correctly. If you have real, hands-on residential electrical experience... If you've completed panel replacements, service upgrades, and service changes ... If you understand the importance of the National Electrical Code and believe clean work matters... Keep reading. WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING
Your days will be hands-on.
You'll:
Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical issues Perform residential electrical repairs Complete panel replacements Perform service upgrades and service changes Ensure work is completed safely and according to code Take ownership of jobs from diagnosis through completion Communicate clearly with homeowners throughout the job Respect customers' homes, families, pets, and property Keep your workspace clean and professional Communicate professionally with homeowners, inspectors, and team members Help apprentices and junior technicians continue developing as you grow in your own career You're not there to simply complete a work order. You're there to solve the problem and leave behind work you're proud of.
WHAT YOU'LL EARN UP TO
$60/HOUR + PERFORMANCE-BASED
COMMISSION
This is a full 40-hour workweek , with pay issued weekly. Qualified new hires are also eligible for a: $2,500 SIGN-ON BONUS And your opportunity doesn't stop at your hourly rate. READ THIS BEFORE YOU APPLY WE ARE SPECIFICALLY LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICIANS.
This is important. We're looking for someone who already has a foundation of hands-on residential electrical experience and can contribute in the field.
You must have:
At least 1 year of hands-on residential electrical experience Experience completing panel replacements Experience completing service upgrades Experience completing service changes An understanding of the National Electrical Code The ability to produce clean, safe, dependable electrical work The ability to communicate professionally with homeowners, inspectors, and team members The reliability to show up consistently and proactively communicate delays or material needs The ability to take ownership of a job from diagnosis through completion Pride in representing Potts Electric inside customers' homes A huge plus: The ability to independently diagnose and troubleshoot complex residential electrical problems. If troubleshooting is an area where you still have room to grow, that's okay. But you need to bring real residential electrical experience with you on Day One. We're happy to help good electricians become great electricians. We're not looking to teach someone the electrical trade from the beginning.
