Job Description

Position Title:
E/E Tech Pay Rate:
(Starting at $30.89/hr. up to $35.45)
Category/Shift:
Hourly Full-Time (Sunday-Monday)
Rotating Schedule:
Mon
  • 12 hrs. Tues. 12 hrs. Fri
  • 12 hrs. Sat
  • 12 hrs. Sun
  • 12 hrs. Wed
  • 12 hrs. Thur
  • 12 hrs.

Jackson Box Plant 211 Carrier Blvd. Richland, MS 39218
The Job You Will Perform:
Following all safety rules and practices Experience in Electrical & Mechanical Field Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and blueprints is required Perform predictive and preventive maintenance duties to troubleshoot and repair defective equipment in a timely manner Perform predictive and preventive maintenance duties and generate work notifications to address any issues detected Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts, weekends and overtime as required Individual will be required to pass pre-employment testing, background check and drug screening
The Skills You Will Bring:
Qualified candidates must have formal and on the job training in the following: electrical and basic electronics, AC/DC drives, PLC controllers, basic hydraulics and pneumatics
Troubleshooting:
Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures and the aptitude to correct those failures Complete work order cycle within SAP; Create orders, perform work, confirm time and enter equipment history Work closely with all team members to ensure each task is completed in a safe and efficient manner Assist other team members in the plant to minimize downtime and maintain quality; Candidates must be able to make decisions and work with Maintenance and Plant Supervisors in order to complete assigned tasks Two-year vocational training in electrical technology is preferred Corrugated Industry maintenance experience a plus
