Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Wood/Gas Stove Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of wood-burning and gas stoves, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and technical specifications. Your expertise will help transform spaces by installing high-quality heating solutions that meet customer expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling to new construction, utilizing your skills in blueprint reading, material installation, and technical troubleshooting. Duties Interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to determine installation requirements for wood and gas stoves Measure, cut, assemble, and install stove units using hand tools and power tools with precision and care Follow blueprint specifications and technical drawings to ensure accurate placement and secure mounting of stoves Manage the installation of related components such as venting systems, gas lines, plumbing connections, and electrical wiring in compliance with safety codes Use ladders, scaffolding, and heavy equipment safely to access installation sites at various heights or difficult-to-reach areas Conduct thorough inspections of installed units to verify proper operation, safety compliance, and aesthetic quality Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other tradespeople to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction during each project phase Qualifications Proven experience in construction installation roles, particularly with stove or appliance installation preferred Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to heating appliances Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and construction equipment such as ladders and scaffolding Familiarity with plumbing, electrical systems, venting, caulking, trim carpentry, tile masonry experience is highly desirable Ability to interpret construction plans accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude toward clients and team members Construction site experience including framing, remodeling, restoration or similar fields is advantageous Valid driver's license; ability to operate heavy equipment or perform roofing or masonry tasks is a plus Join our team to bring warmth and comfort into homes through expert stove installations!
