In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Read and interpret complex electrical schematics, construction blueprints, and technical diagrams to execute precise installations. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks on construction sites or renovation projects. Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults accurately. Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for safety and quality assurance during all phases of work. Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry or general contractors to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of electrical components. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for accountability and future reference. Adhere to safety protocols on construction sites or renovation environments, including proper handling of high voltage systems. Assist in upgrading existing electrical systems during renovations or facility improvements to enhance efficiency and safety. Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments; construction site experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of NEC standards, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and installation techniques. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and schematics troubleshooting. Proficiency with hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers; power tools including drills and saws; ohmmeters; and other testing equipment. Ability to read technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely. Experience working on renovation projects or within construction environments demonstrating adaptability across various job sites. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with handyman experience or frame carpentry knowledge are a plus. Does not have to be a licensed electrician. We are looking for someone with strong electrical experience.

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
