Your primary focus will involve the installation, upkeep, and diagnostic repair of intricate electrical setups within light industrial and commercial settings. To succeed in this position, you must demonstrate mastery in conduit installation and blueprint interpretation, while showing the ability to manage projects autonomously or guide a small team to ensure all work is completed punctually and according to safety regulations. Key Duties Analyze architectural drawings, electrical schematics, and technical layouts to ensure precise equipment positioning and circuitry mapping. Execute the installation, wiring, and termination of transformers, switchgear, commercial panels, control systems, and lighting fixtures to support facility operations. Streamline the distribution of power by efficiently pulling cables and wires through building structures, cable trays, and conduit systems. Identify and resolve electrical faults within commercial systems to minimize downtime and restore full functionality. Promote a culture of safety by ensuring all electrical work adheres strictly to OSHA guidelines, the National Electrical Code, and project-specific requirements. Foster team productivity by mentoring junior staff and collaborating effectively with project managers and other trade professionals to meet project deadlines. Required Skills and Qualifications Possess a minimum of six years of verifiable experience working on commercial projects such as retail spaces, medical facilities, or warehouses. Demonstrate advanced proficiency in blueprint reading and the installation of various conduit types. Maintain a personal set of standard trade tools and possess a valid driver license with dependable transportation. Support site operations by maintaining the physical stamina required to lift 50 lbs, work in confined areas, and operate aerial lifts or ladders. Enhance professional relationships by communicating clearly with clients and project managers while maintaining a punctual and safety-focused work ethic. Additional Details This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity located within a 60-mile radius of our Emerson, NJ home office, with standard working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
