Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled electrician to perform electrical work on various commercial projects throughout New Jersey. This role involves working on diverse tasks that require expertise in electrical systems and installations. Responsibilities Execute electrical work on commercial projects across New Jersey. Install and layout conduits using EMT, PVC, and ENT methods. Perform under slab concrete work and layout conduits. Conduct switch and plugging, panel work, and switchboard installations. Install and maintain fire alarm systems. Read and interpret blueprints effectively. Pull wires and perform pipe work efficiently. Essential Skills Proficiency in conduit installation and cable pulling. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. 2 to 10 years of experience as a helper or mechanic in commercial settings. Experience with hi-rise projects is a plus. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with commercial electrical projects is required. Knowledge of electrical systems and equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Whippany, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $36.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
