Position Overview We are seeking a Residential Electrical Mechanic with a at least 5 years of hands-on residential electrical experience. This position is ideal for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot efficiently, and complete installations safely and professionally while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Perform residential electrical service work, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations Install and replace panels, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting, EV chargers, generators, and other residential electrical systems Read and interpret electrical drawings and plans Diagnose electrical issues and recommend appropriate solutions Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Communicate professionally with homeowners and office staff Follow all NEC and local electrical codes Work independently while also collaborating with other technicians when needed Qualifications Required Minimum 5 years of residential electrical experience as an Electrical Mechanic Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience performing residential service work independently Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Preferred 4-10 years of residential electrical experience Experience with service upgrades, generators, EV chargers, pool equipment, and home automation OSHA certifications are a plus Compensation & Benefits $30-$45 per hour , depending on experience 401(k) Health insurance Overtime opportunities Full-time, year-round work Opportunity for advancement within a growing company Schedule Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts Overtime available (weekends available) Requirements Must be able to commute to Bay Shore, NY 11706 Local applicants preferred Must have authorization to work in the United States In-person position
