Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across residential and commercial environments. Your expertise will ensure that electrical operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, adhering strictly to all safety standards and electrical codes. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems in accordance with local electrical codes and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system configurations. Perform electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to all electrical safety procedures. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as multi-meters. Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for wiring, conduit bending, installation, and repairs on construction sites or renovation projects. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of electrical work within project specifications. Requirements Proven experience as an residential electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems. Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety procedures. Ability to read, schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints with precision. Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Experience working with wiring systems safely in construction environments. Hands-on experience with construction site work, renovation projects, or similar environments is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills coupled with excellent hand tool proficiency; ability to work independently or as part of a team. Valid driver's license is required.
