Electrician- Journeyman
BackShareLets get started! Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Electricians for a commercial project in the Newark, OH area
PAY:
$26.00-35.00/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS:
Shifts will be 8-hour workdays (Plus Overtime) 5 days per week
SCHEDULE
Workdays will be Monday- Friday; 9:00 PM-7 AM

Electrician Job Description:
We are looking for an electrician capable of bending and running conduit, pulling wire, and installing light fixtures. Must be able to wire panels, terminate, and troubleshoot. Technical Skills Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
Install conduit, including: EMT, Rigid, IMC, PVC
Bend conduit using hand and hydraulic benders.
Pull and terminate electrical wiring and cable.
Install panels, switchgear, transformers, disconnects, and lighting systems.
Install receptacles, switches, and electrical devices.
Work with voltages including:
120V, 208V, 240V, 277V, 480V
Troubleshoot electrical faults using meters and testing equipment.
Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC). Qualifications for
Electrician:
2+ years of electrical experience in a commercial setting.
Proficiency with wire pulling, bending, and running EMT conduit.
Ability to terminate and troubleshoot.
Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
Must have standard electrical hand tools.
2-5+ years of commercial electrical experience.
Experience working on:
Office buildings
Schools and universities
Hospitals
Retail stores
Warehouses
Manufacturing facilities
Safety Knowledge
OSHA safety regulations.
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Proper use of PPE.
Fall protection.
Ladder and lift safety
Physical Requirements
Lift 50-75 pounds.
Work on ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.
Stand, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Additional Requirements for
Electrician:
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
