Our partner, The Lubrizol Corporation, one of the top workplaces in America , is seeking candidates for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their growing team! 1st Shift Negotiable pay, $35-$42/hr. depending upon skillset This position can be either Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire, and will be discussed during the interview process As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving specialty chemical solutions forward. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life. In this role, you will: Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install various types of electrical equipment Work on range of voltages up to and including 4160V Constantly remain alert and aware of possible hazards to self and others Utilize necessary PPE (ear protection, eye protection, arc flash gear, respirator, etc.) Expected to keep up to date with the latest electrical technology and trade methods Required to work overtime and selected holidays as part of a regular PM program Required to participate in a shared 24/7/365 on-call rotation Must have good work habits (technical and housekeeping), be self-motivated, consistently stay on the job and make efficient use of time Rigging equipment in a safe manner Additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success High School Diploma Electrical certification or equivalent preferred Minimum of 5 years' experience in the industrial instrumentation/electrical trade The ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics Skilled in all types of conduit layout, bending, and installation Experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of single and 3-phase motors Experience in AC and DC voltage systems Experience in lighting maintenance (fluorescent, LED, HID, etc.) Experience in application of the NFPA 70 (NEC) and 70E (Electrical Safety Standard) Experience in electrical construction techniques Proven ability to progress, learn, and keep up with new technologies in the electrical trade Strong mechanical repair skills Good basic computer skills and fluent with Microsoft Office Products Preferred Qualifications that Drive you Forward Experienced with installation, troubleshooting and repair of UPS and generator systems Experience in fire alarm troubleshooting, repair and testing Experience in troubleshooting VFD's (Variable Frequency drives) Experience in hazardous locations Experience with SAP and Allen Bradley Software #IND101
