With locations in Calgary, Canada, Coburg, Oregon, and Phoenix, Arizona. Summary:
The Maintenance Electrician Signing Supervisor is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical components of manufacturing equipment.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot and repair machinery quickly and efficiently when issues happen during production. Complete projects during production (ex: fabrication, rebuilding parts, wiring panels and inspecting machinery). Perform preventative maintenance and repairs while machinery is down. Maintain working electrical knowledge of presses and machinery. Log maintenance work. Adhere to safety standards and wear proper personal protective equipment. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Work independently and as a team. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have an active General Supervising Electrician's License. Lockout/tagout Forklift/man lift operation. Ability to read blueprints. Fabrication experience. Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic valves and troubleshooting, pumps, cylinders and schematics. Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, variable frequency drives, 3 phase 480vac equipment, motor controls and sensors. Experience with general industrial equipment such as chains, bushings, bearings, gearboxes and drive belts. Experience with plumbing of air, oil, grease and water lines.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to walk, stand, lift, push, pull, bend, twist, do repetitive motion, walk up and down stairs.
Work Environment:
Exposure to a production environment which includes noise, dust, moving machinery, forklifts, and fluctuations in temperature. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
