Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various construction and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable electrical operations in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial, industrial, and construction environments. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical codes such as the NEC (National Electrical Code). Use hand tools and power tools to perform precise electrical work on low voltage and high voltage systems. Conduct testing with instruments such as ohmmeters and ammeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately. Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent hazards on construction sites or industrial facilities. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades like frame carpentry to ensure seamless project execution. Experience Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings is essential. Hands-on experience with construction site projects enhances your ability to adapt quickly to different environments. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and electrical system layouts is required. Knowledge of NEC standards related to low voltage and high voltage systems is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, along with power tools like drills and saws. Experience working with low voltage wiring systems as well as high voltage power distribution is a plus. Ability to use testing devices including ohmmeters, ammeters, and schematics for troubleshooting complex electrical issues.
