In this role, you will be responsible for installing and wiring commercial new construction buildings and renovations. You will draw schematics to indicate where the wiring and components are installed, then measure, cut, and install wiring and conduit systems according to specifications/drawings. Applicants should have several years of professional commercial electrician experience. Commercial Electrician Duties and Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install wiring and conduit systems Install electrical equipment and feeder systems Follow electrical blueprints, drawings and schematics Troubleshoot or replace electrical components as needed Follow local, state, and national electric codes Maintain a clean and safe workplace Commercial Electrician Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED certificate Completion of a trade school or training program is a plus SC master electrician license preferred Previous experience in a commercial environment strongly preferred Experience using hand tools Mechanical skills Physical ability Traveling required Per diem may be available for those who meet minimum requirements. Supervision positions may be available as well as apprentices.
