Today Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will work independently to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in Residential / Commercial / Industrial settings. The ideal candidate takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship, follows safety codes strictly, and can work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities Install Systems:

Wire and hook up electrical systems, panels, breakers, transformers, conduits, and lighting fixtures.

Diagnose and Repair:

Troubleshoot and fix malfunctioning systems, circuits, and equipment using testing tools like multimeters.

Read Blueprints:

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to plan out system layouts.

Maintain Safety:

Ensure all work strictly complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.

Lead Apprentices:

Provide guidance and on-the-job training to apprentice electricians on your job sites.

Maintain Documentation:

Keep accurate logs of materials used and work completed daily. Job Requirements Qualifications and Skills

License:

Current, valid Journeyman Electrician License

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a journeyman or finishing an apprenticeship.

Education:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent trade school graduation.

Technical Knowledge:

Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety standards.

Physical Ability:

Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, crawl into tight spaces, and stand for long periods.

Driving:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required for company vehicle use).

Tools:

Ownership of standard hand tools required for the electrical trade.
