Job Description

JOB # 974-241 Pacesetter Personnel Services is hiring a Licensed Master Electrician for projects in Rosharon, TX , and surrounding areas.
Pay:
$40.00 hourly. We pay weekly.
Requirements:
Current Texas Master Electrician license. Must have a Valid Drivers License. Ability to perform work through a properly licensed Texas Electrical Contractor. Experience with commercial or utility electrical service installations. Experience coordinating with local utility providers. Experience obtaining electrical permits and coordinating inspections. Experience with new electrical service, meter installations, and service entrances. Ability to interpret utility plans, electrical drawings, and site plans. Strong knowledge of current NEC requirements. Experience with outdoor equipment cabinets, telecommunications facilities, utility cabinets, or similar infrastructure strongly preferred. Ability to independently manage utility coordination, permitting, inspections, and project communications.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday:
8-hour shifts or as needed Open to weekends.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced electrician to support the installation and energization of electrical service for telecommunications equipment cabinets. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling projects from initial site review through permitting, construction, inspection, and final energization.
Responsibilities:
Site Review & Electrical Design Review proposed equipment cabinet locations and available site information. Determine electrical service requirements, load, meter location, and service configuration. Identify required disconnects, breakers, grounding, conduit, conductors, and related equipment. Identify site conditions and determine whether electrical drawings, load calculations, or engineering are required. Permitting & Inspections Identify applicable permitting requirements and the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). Prepare and submit electrical permit applications and supporting documentation. Coordinate required inspections and resolve electrical deficiencies. Obtain final electrical approval for energization. Utility Coordination Serve as the primary electrical contact with the local utility. Coordinate service requests, service requirements, point of delivery, metering, and energization. Provide required electrical and site documentation. Track utility requirements through completion and coordinate final service activation. Electrical Installation Install or supervise installation of: Meter equipment and disconnects Panels and breakers Conduit and conductors Grounding and bonding Weatherproof/exterior electrical components Connections to telecommunications equipment cabinets Label equipment and verify proper voltage and operation. Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, utility requirements, and manufacturer specifications. Final Inspection & Energization Coordinate final electrical inspections. Resolve any installation-related deficiencies. Coordinate meter installation and service energization. Verify power at the equipment cabinet. Provide final electrical documentation and confirm the site is ready for equipment activation.
