We are seeking an Estimating Manager - Piping/Mechanical in Decatur, AL to lead the estimating department and produce accurate cost estimates for industrial construction projects, from planning through contract execution. Responsibilities Determine total project costs including materials, equipment, labor, utilities, and indirects Analyze construction documents, specs, and bid packages; submit all deliverables before deadlines Prepare and manage estimates to optimize scheduling, material procurement, and vendor/subcontractor pricing Identify and manage risks with appropriate contingency planning Report regularly to management and clients on project status Conduct site visits and collaborate cross-functionally as needed Stay current on estimating technology and industry best practices Requirements 7+ years of industrial construction estimating experience (preferred) Proficiency in ProEst estimating software Strong management, negotiation, and proposal writing skills Ability to travel for site visits and work independently English proficiency required for technical documents and safety communication Please call or text our office for an immediate phone interview ! 713-491-4703 "All estimates of project are mere estimates and not representative of a guaranteed period of employment.
