Accurately estimate the costs associated with developing and producing products. Function in the Job Sedentary Work- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Job Function Excellent computer skills with a high degree of proficiency in Excel and MieTRAK. Experience is also desired in AutoCAD and Solid Works Good visualization skills, including the ability to visualize in 3D Superior logic and reasoning skills. Ability to work unattended. Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills. The ability to understand tolerances, metric and inch unit systems. Ability to read and clearly understand complex engineering drawings is required. Must have good organization and decision making skills with a keen sense of urgency. Excellent written and verbal skills Must posses a good understanding of current market values in the manufacturing field. Possess a highly developed understanding of manufacturing processes and capabilities at GHMS Must be able to work with vendors obtaining competitive material and outside process pricing. Must to be able to work closely with engineering, management, accounting, sales, customer service and production personnel. Environment Office setting; controlled temperature environment Required Skills 2-year degree in related business field desired 3 to 5 years experience estimating both material and labor in a manufacturing organization is highly desired Must be team oriented, have the ability to read blueprints, excellent written and verbal skills, and an understanding of English and Metric systems. Must be able to work from written or verbal instructions
