Construction Estimator - Exterior Building Systems All Around, Inc. | Downtown Opelika, AL | In person Starting salary: $75,000-$90,000 per year, depending on experience

Paid time off and parental leave Put your estimating experience to work where it makes a difference All Around, Inc. is a Nashville based company seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our satellite office in downtown Opelika, Alabama. You'll be responsible for estimating and planning multifamily, residential, and commercial exterior construction projects. You'll work closely with company leadership, project managers, and field superintendents to develop accurate estimates, prepare competitive proposals, and give construction teams a clear plan for execution. Your experience will also help improve our estimating tools, identify cost saving opportunities, and strengthen project results. Candidates in the Auburn-Opelika area are strongly preferred. Varied project experience:

Estimate siding, roofing, insulation, furring, and related exterior systems across multiple construction markets. What you'll do Review drawings, specifications, addenda, and bid requirements to define scope and identify gaps. Complete detailed takeoffs and estimates for materials, labor, equipment, supervision, and other project costs. Obtain vendor pricing, clarify project requirements with general contractors, and develop practical value engineering options. Prepare clear proposals with defined scope, inclusions, exclusions, and alternates. Manage bid deadlines, follow-ups, and organized estimating records. Coordinate awarded project handoffs, material orders, and scope reviews with project managers and superintendents. Support change order pricing and review estimated versus actual costs to improve future bids. What you bring Construction estimating experience and a practical understanding of materials, installation methods, and project costs. Confidence reading construction drawings and specifications. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Clear communication and the ability to build productive relationships with customers, vendors, and construction teams. Proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Office, and digital estimating tools.

Especially valuable:

Construction takeoff software experience and a background estimating fiber cement siding, architectural wall panels, continuous insulation, steep and low slope roofing, or other exterior building envelope systems.
