Based in California, we specialize in high-quality commercial interior finishes, drywall, metal stud framing, and radiation shielding systems. We take pride in delivering exceptional projects through smart project management, close collaboration, and a relentless focus on execution. The Role We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager & Estimator to oversee the successful execution of commercial drywall, framing, and interior finish projects from award through final buyout and project closeout. In this role, you will take the handoff from pre-construction to manage budgets, lead cross-functional field teams, coordinate with contractors, and uphold high standards of safety, quality, and execution. Planning & Execution:

Build master execution timelines, establish deadlines, and define project work breakdown structures. Coordinate with superintendents and foremen on manpower allocation, delivery phasing, and specialized equipment logistics.

Financials & Cost Control:

Oversee project budget, negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors. Manage subcontract agreements, review vendor invoices, and control the pricing and execution of change orders.

Site Management & Quality Assurance:

Partner with field crews, inspectors, and safety personnel to ensure jobsite compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards. Interpret technical drawings, structural framing details, and wall schedules to resolve field conflicts and maintain build accuracy.

Stakeholder & Client Relations:

Serve as a primary liaison between contractors, architects, engineers, and building owners throughout the project. Providing consistent updates on project development. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, production reports, and change order logs, delivering clear updates to all stakeholders.

Qualifications Experience:

Project management experience with a general or trade contractor preferably focused on commercial drywall, framing, or interior systems.

Skills:

Proficiency in project management software such as On-Screen Takeoff (OST) & Quick Bid. Strong blueprint reading capabilities, including architectural, structural, and reflected ceiling plans. Solid knowledge of California building codes, permitting, and OSHA standards. Strong communications skills between client interactions, project stakeholders, and field employees. Solid understanding of interior cost management principles including linear footage framing calculations, board layout optimization, and labor production rates. Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with general contractors and material suppliers to secure favorable terms.
