This position is ideal for someone who understands the construction industry, enjoys working with customers, and has the skills to identify new business opportunities, estimate insulation projects accurately, and help turn bids into successful jobs. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field while collaborating with customers, office staff, and field superintendents. We are looking for someone who takes pride in accurate estimating, strong customer service, and helping our company grow. Responsibilities Meet with potential and existing customers to discuss insulation project needs and requirements. Review construction plans, specifications, and project details to prepare accurate, competitive insulation estimates and bids. Perform material takeoffs and calculate quantities and project costs. Identify potential projects and actively seek new customers and business opportunities throughout the local area. Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, builders, customers, and other industry professionals. Follow up on bids and proposals to help secure new projects and grow sales. Coordinate with office staff to ensure estimates, bids, contracts, and other required paperwork are completed accurately and submitted on time. Work closely with field superintendents to review project scope, clarify job requirements, and ensure projects are bid correctly. Maintain organized records of leads, estimates, customer communications, and project information. Provide professional customer service and clear communication throughout the estimating and project coordination process. Qualifications Previous experience in insulation, construction estimating, sales, or project management is preferred. Experience with insulation estimating, construction plans, and material takeoffs is highly desirable. Must be proficient in On-Screen Takeoff (OST). Strong attention to detail and the ability to prepare accurate, competitive bids. Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated and willing to drive throughout the local area to identify projects and develop new customers. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work well with customers, office staff, and field superintendents. Valid driver's license and a good driving record required.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
