Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Low Voltage Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for low voltage electrical systems on a variety of construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure project budgets are realistic and competitive while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Responsibilities Review construction drawings, electrical schematics, and technical specifications to develop precise estimates for low voltage systems including surveillance, access control, fiber optics, and voice/data cabling. Analyze material costs, labor requirements, equipment needs, and subcontractor quotes to create comprehensive project budgets. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors through effective negotiation to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms. Review construction documents thoroughly to identify potential risks or discrepancies that could impact project costs or timelines. Maintain accurate records of estimates, revisions, and supporting documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in electrical estimating within the construction industry, particularly with low voltage systems such as surveillance, access control, AV, or data cabling. Skilled in reading and interpreting construction drawings, electrical blueprints, and schematics with precision. Excellent negotiation skills to work effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and clients on pricing and contracts. Solid understanding of construction management principles including cost control, material estimation, and project budgeting. Ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members while managing multiple projects efficiently. Pay:

$28.00 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
