Responsibilities Prepare complete estimates for large and complex projects Review plans, specifications, contracts, and bid requirements Complete quantity takeoffs and price labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors Develop construction approaches, production rates, and preliminary schedules Identify project risks, scope gaps, and constructability concerns Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and subcontractors during bid preparation Present estimates and participate in pricing and bid reviews Attend project meetings and site visits as required Maintain accurate estimating records and meet submission deadlines Qualifications Four or more years of heavy civil estimating experience Experience preparing estimates for large or complex construction projects Strong knowledge of construction methods, costs, scheduling, and project risk Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred Experience with HCSS HeavyBid or similar estimating software Familiarity with Primavera P6, CAD, or AGTEK preferred Strong analytical, communication, organization, and problem solving skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work additional hours during major bid periods Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites Experience with earthwork, environmental remediation, geotechnical construction, flood control, dredging, water resources, or similar infrastructure projects.

Pay:

$120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
