Miscellaneous Metals Estimator Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a background in miscellaneous metals fabrication. The ideal candidate will have experience estimating projects involving stairs, railings, ladders, platforms, structural supports, and other miscellaneous metal fabrication. Responsibilities Prepare accurate estimates and bids for miscellaneous metals fabrication projects Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements Perform material and quantity takeoffs Price materials, fabrication, labor, finishing, delivery, and installation Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Prepare proposals and detailed estimates Work closely with sales, project management, detailing, and fabrication teams Identify potential cost impacts, exclusions, and project risks Manage multiple estimates and bid deadlines Qualifications 3+ years of experience estimating miscellaneous metals or similar fabrication Strong understanding of miscellaneous metals fabrication and installation Experience with stairs, railings, ladders, platforms, and structural/miscellaneous steel preferred Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings Strong understanding of material, labor, and fabrication costs Strong organizational and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Company Offers Salary up to $120,000 based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) match PTO Growth and advancement opportunities Remote/hybrid work may be considered for the right candidate who lives locally Send resume to mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com for more information
