Estimator / Project Manager (Commercial Doors & Hardware)

Macon, GA Salary:

$70,000 per year, plus bonus potential Job Summary We are hiring an Estimator / Project Manager to support our Project Management team in the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial door, frame, and hardware projects in the Macon, GA area. This role covers the full project lifecycle, including estimating and bidding, material ordering, scheduling, submittals, documentation, and project close-out. Responsibilities Review plans and specifications to prepare accurate bids and quotes for small and large projects Prepare written estimates and proposals using knowledge of labor, material, and equipment costs Build project checklists and detailed project plans to track progress Manage commercial door projects from start to finish Order materials and track deliveries Create and track submittals Schedule and coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams Maintain complete and organized project documentation Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget Assist with project close-out documentation and activities Perform other project management duties as assigned Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of construction or estimating experience, including estimating, project coordination, or project management Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and spreadsheets Ability to read blueprints and specifications Ability to work effectively in a team environment Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications Experience in the commercial door, frame, and hardware industry Knowledge of door hardware schedules and submittal processes
