Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join a growing restoration and reconstruction team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong commercial and residential reconstruction and mitigation experience. The Estimator will manage projects from initial inspection through completion while ensuring accurate estimates, clear communication, and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Inspect commercial and residential properties following water, fire, storm, and other losses. Prepare detailed estimates and project scopes using Xactimate. Manage estimates from initial inspection through project completion. Communicate with clients, property owners, adjusters, project managers, and internal teams. Review scopes, identify changes or additional work, and coordinate with production teams. Maintain accurate project documentation and records. Help ensure projects are completed efficiently, profitably, and to a high standard. Provide excellent customer service throughout the estimating and project process.
Requirements:
3-5+ years of construction, restoration, or related experience. Strong reconstruction and mitigation background. Experience with both commercial and residential projects. Proficiency with Xactimate and construction estimating. Strong understanding of project scope and pricing. Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills. Comfortable working directly with clients, property owners, and adjusters. Stable work history with increasing responsibility preferred. Restoration experience strongly preferred. Industry certifications preferred but not required. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
