Job Description As an Automotive Repair Estimator II, you provide accurate cost estimates for cosmetic, mechanical, and detailing work on auction vehicles. You inspect vehicles, scope needed reconditioning, and document estimates, then coordinate with maintenance, reconditioning, and procurement teams to confirm parts pricing and start approved work. You track repair status and timelines, keep clear records, and communicate updates to internal teams while following safety procedures in a fast-paced auction environment. Responsibilities Provide repair and reconditioning estimates for auction vehicles, including body, mechanical, and detailing work. Communicate approved estimates to maintenance and reconditioning teams to initiate work orders. Collaborate with procurement or purchasing to confirm accurate parts and materials pricing. Monitor repair progress, completion timelines, and related vehicle transportation needs. Maintain detailed records and paperwork for all estimates and completed reconditioning work. Follow and promote all safety policies and procedures while working in the auction environment. Support customer and internal stakeholder communication related to repair status and expectations. Use basic office and estimating tools to prepare, update, and share estimates and reports.
