Perform quantity takeoffs, pricing, and unit rate development using industry-standard estimating tools and methodologies.

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior estimators and takeoff specialists; review estimates for accuracy and compliance with internal QA/QC standards.
Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits and client meetings as needed; support post-bid estimate reviews and lessons-learned sessions.
Proven proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid/HeavyJob and common takeoff and estimating software; strong Excel skills required.
Deep knowledge of construction means and methods, unit pricing, labor productivity rates and equipment estimating.
Demonstrated experience preparing competitive bids, managing subcontractor scope and conducting risk/contingency analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear cost narratives and present estimates to executives and clients.
Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids under aggressive timelines.

We are seeking a Senior Estimator to lead accurate, competitive cost estimates for civil, marine, industrial and infrastructure projects. This role will support preconstruction and bidding activities for projects including pipeline, highway and federal work. The Senior Estimator will compile takeoffs, prepare detailed quantities and cost models, evaluate subcontractor bids, identify risks and value-engineering opportunities, and collaborate with project teams to optimize project scope and profitability.Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).5+ years of progressive estimating experience with a focus on civil, marine, industrial, pipeline, infrastructure or highway projects; experience with federal contracting is strongly desired.Proven proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid/HeavyJob and common takeoff and estimating software; strong Excel skills required.
