Job Description The Junior Estimator - HVAC will: Prepare accurate HVAC, piping, sheet metal, and mechanical estimates for projects ranging from $5M-$20M. Analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop competitive proposals. Solicit, evaluate, and compare subcontractor and vendor pricing. Assist with bid submissions, scope reviews, and project handoff to operations teams. Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure accurate budgeting and cost forecasting. Support estimating efforts for federal, healthcare, military, municipal, research, and public-sector construction projects. Work from the company's Norwell, MA office alongside an experienced construction team. The Successful Applicant A successful Junior Estimator - HVAC should have: 1+ years of HVAC, mechanical, or construction estimating experience. Experience estimating mechanical, HVAC, piping, and/or sheet metal scopes. Background working on public, municipal, state, or government-funded construction projects. Federal project experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and bidding processes. Procore experience preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Experience with estimating software and digital takeoff tools is a plus.
