Aberdeen, MD | Full-Time | On-Site

Join our team at our Aberdeen office, where you'll collaborate directly with project managers, electricians, and leadership. This is a fully on-site opportunity offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule and a supportive team environment.

Note

We're seeking candidates with hands-on electrical field experience and a strong background in residential and commercial electrical estimating. Experience with estimating software and completion of a certified electrical apprenticeship program are important requirements for this position.

Job Description

As our Electrical Estimator, you'll play a key role in planning successful projects by developing accurate, competitive estimates for residential and commercial electrical construction.

Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates, material takeoffs, and competitive project bids.

Review construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and bid documents.

Evaluate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs to develop accurate pricing.

Use electrical estimating software to prepare and manage project estimates.

Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, vendors, and field teams to understand project requirements.

Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Research material pricing, analyze project costs, and negotiate with suppliers.

Maintain organized estimating records, bid documentation, and project information.

Help our team win new projects through accurate, timely, and well-prepared proposals.

Qualifications

2+ years of electrical estimating experience with residential and commercial projects.

4+ years of hands-on electrical field experience.

Completion of a certified electrical apprenticeship program.

Experience using electrical estimating software and preparing material takeoffs.

Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Basic understanding of accounting, construction costs, and project management principles.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and estimating technology.

Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.

Ability to work full-time on-site in Aberdeen, MD.
