Landscape/Hardscape/Construction Estimator

Job Description

Due to tremendous growth and ample lead flow, Hometown Landscape, dedicated to enhancing the beauty of the outdoors since 1993, seeks to hire an experienced Landscape Estimator. This person is responsible for the design, pricing, sale, and coordination of landscape and hardscape projects. Design experience is a plus. We are seeking someone who is an energetic, passionate, self-motivated, and a positive go-getter with superb communication skills and a desire to join a strong, team-oriented office on the rise. The Estimator will work closely with Senior Management and installation teams to set and meet goals that will help support our continued growth as a company. Our company is expanding, and we are looking for an addition to become an integral part of this growth and continued success. If you have the drive and have a proven track record of closing deals, we want to hear from you! Manage projects to include setting up crews, laying out plans at the site, answering questions the crews may have, seeing that jobs come in on time and budget. You would be the main point of contact for both the crews, clients and vendors for any given project. Projects can be small one day jobs or can span several weeks.

Professional Development Assistance Requirements:
3-5 years previous landscape, estimating, design, sales or operations experience Strong plant knowledge required Hardscape knowledge required Design experience a plus Bilingual a plus Bachelor's degree a plus
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains a level of sales required to keep crews working at the desired level Seeks and develops new business as required to maintain sales goals Communicates with clients, potential clients, vendors, trade associations and other employees in a professional manner as part of business development and retention Responds to clients or prospects phone calls within 24 hours Generates leads and meets with potential clients. Asks for leads and referrals from current clients Corresponds with Client and Production Staff to ensure design integrity and to provide a seamless transition from sales to installation. Produces creative designs staying up to date with new products and techniques. Maintains continuing education in sales and landscape design Develops cost estimates, proposal, contracts and reviews with clients Make follow up calls with customers to ensure satisfaction Superb time management skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills Experience with estimating software Proficiency with Microsoft applications; and an openness to embracing new technology

$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
