The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating costs for commercial roofing and siding projects, with the ability to evaluate material, labor, and overhead costs. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in accurately estimating project costs, preparing detailed proposals, and ensuring projects are completed on budget and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work for roofing and siding projects.
Accurately estimate material and labor costs based on project requirements, including pricing for roofing, siding, flashing, insulation, and related materials using
PLANSWIFT.
Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to gather additional information as needed.
Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates and proposals for roofing and siding projects, ensuring all costs are accounted for.
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to ensure accurate project takeoffs.
Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, identify potential challenges, and gather data for accurate estimates.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
Coordinate with the project management team to ensure timely and accurate project estimations.
Maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate effective communication throughout the project.
Monitor and adjust estimates during the project lifecycle, making necessary changes based on scope adjustments or unforeseen issues.
Track and analyze project costs, providing reports and updates as required.
Stay updated on industry trends, pricing changes, and new products that may impact project costs.
